Show in 2017

Hello everyone,

I’m looking to publish a show in 2017.  It would be similar to Kristin’s show, but past the centennial, and on Cape Cod.

Originally it was going to be all artwork from Petrified Forest, but the director wants to do work from different residencies around the country.

He does not want to include photography or abstract work/installations, but it can be abstracted as long as it is representational.

If you are interested, please reply or email me at

As a resident in the following National Parks, Acadia, Crater Lake, Bighorn, Mesa Verde, and Glacier (through the Montana Preservation Alliance), I am not shooting the messenger, just the message. Photography is excluded? What’s up with that? Have you gotten any response from the Cape Cod docent or person contacting you about a show?

Jenn: Nobody is going to get “shot” over this! I’m familiar the situation, and am used to being in the back of the bus, or gallery. With cameras I like to say: “Shoot first; ask questions later!” Not so with guns, however. Good luck with the show, and thanks for doing it.

Why not photography? Many parks owe their existence to photography!

      Sorry Chris,
Don’t shoot the messenger. Your website is just gorgeous and hopefully we will be able to have shows in the future. (This is my first time doing this and I had to go with what they want.)

I’ve got work from inside the Pintura Labyrinth, (just North along the escarpment from Pintura Peak and the eagle nest), that I want to show…..but it’s photographs.

      Sorry Robert,
Don’t shoot the messenger. Hopefully there will be another show in the future that accepts photos and we can exhibit together.

No photography? Is this director an idiot or simply ignorant? Just sayin.

Please feel free to pass along my comment.

      Hi Chuck,
Sorry, don’t shoot the messenger. Your website is really intense. Why were there all those cans stacked up in the National Park? Anyway, this is my first time doing this and I have to follow directions. Maybe sometime we can have a big show and all exhibit together. (I’ve been trying to find a place to do a show like this for 4 years by the way.)
