Tallgrass is a residency program inspired by prairie & place with a goal of spreading awareness of the prairie as an ecosystem worth protecting. They do this by inviting artists from diverse prairie communities to contribute their voices to a conversation about place. The Tallgrass Artist Residency will invite 8-10 artists to participate in two-week residency periods between April 17 and September 22, 2017, as well as a group exhibition and artist talks on September 23, 2017.
