Ben Panter was born and raised in South Jersey. He was a member of the Rutgers Camden Honors College and in 2008 he received his Bachelor of Arts in Art with Distinction at Rutgers Camden. In 2012 he was awarded his Masters of Fine Art in Studio Art from Moore College of Art and Design.Residencies are an integral part of his practice; he has had the opportunity to be in studio residencies at Burren College of Art, Ireland; Artscape Gibraltar Point, Toronto; and Rocky Mountain National Park, CO. He has also had several teaching residency opportunities in North Camden schools through the Rutgers – Camden Center for the Arts and the Office of Civic Engagement.Panter maintains his studio practice from his home in South Jersey and he actively exhibits his work locally and nationally. Ben has worked as an Adjunct Professor of Art and Photography at Camden County College, Rowan College at Burlington County and now, Rutgers University.
